Scotland's Most Innovative Business 2018
"Debbie and Simon Rutherford celebrated at the grand final in Glasgow. After launching the country's first micropub in 2015, they added another feather to it's cap in 2017 with the launch of specialist microbatch spirits, DeliQuescent."
“We love to experiment with flavours, and the DeliQuescent range will give us a great base for some new cocktail ideas too” said Simon
That idea really took wings in 2021 after a long period in lockdown with nothing else to do but experiment with cocktail recipes.
The Rutherfords added the cocktail 'Freeze Me/Squeeze Me' range to their repertoire.
"..it's these niche producers that are driving innovation in the category, as smaller batches make it easier to play around with new flavour profiles.."
